Rebirth Guide for +1 Stone Skipping

Why Rebirth exists

In +1 Stone Skipping, Skill cannot climb forever on a single level cap. The Rebirth system soft-resets your level and Skill when the meter under the Rebirth button reads 100%, then pays you a permanent Skill multiplier and a higher level cap. That design stops late pads from feeling pointless and keeps every World’s river zones reachable.

Rebirth is not a punishment. Stones, pets, and the multipliers they provide stay with you. Because rebirth multipliers stack with stone additives and pet multipliers, each clean reset makes the next climb faster. If you are still learning the loop, skim Getting Started first, then return here for timing and station unlocks.

How to Rebirth step by step

  1. Train on your best unlocked pad (and throw when you need Wins) until the Rebirth percent hits 100%.
  2. Tap the Rebirth button to open the confirmation menu.
  3. Read the preview: you will return near Skill 1 / level 1, gain a lasting Skill multiplier, and raise the cap.
  4. Confirm Rebirth.
  5. Walk straight to the strongest training station you now qualify for, pop a Skill Potion if you have one, and recover.

You do not need to spend Wins to rebirth. You also do not lose equipped stone types or hatched pets. That is why waiting past 100% is pure downtime—Skill is frozen until you reset.

What you keep versus what resets

You keep

  • Owned stone types and the additive Skill they grant
  • Hatched pets and their Skill multipliers
  • Permanent rebirth multipliers from earlier resets
  • World unlock progress and shop unlocks you already paid for
  • Potions and currencies already in inventory (Wins spending is about what you buy next, not a wipe)

You reset

  • Current level toward the cap
  • Current Skill rating back toward the floor for that cycle

Because recovery uses your kept loadout, players often reclaim the old cap in minutes—sometimes seconds—on a high-multiplier pad. Treat the Skill drop as a short cooldown, not a restart.

Multipliers stack—plan for all three lanes

Three Skill sources multiply your account power:

  1. Rebirth multipliers — permanent, from each successful reset
  2. Stone additives — from better throwables (see Stones Guide)
  3. Pet multipliers — from rarity rolls on eggs (see Pets Guide)

They are designed to work together. A player with many rebirths but a starter stone still throws short. A player with a late stone and zero rebirths hits the cap and stalls. Fill rebirths on schedule, keep buying stones while they remain cheap relative to eggs, then hatch aggressively once Wins are abundant. Ranked shopping help sits on the Stones Tier List and Pets Tier List.

Training stations unlock with rebirth count

Auto-train pads are not equal forever. As your rebirth total rises, stronger stations open. Gameplay footage and community routes commonly call out:

  • Around two rebirths — access to a 4x Skill training station
  • Around five rebirths — access to a 10x Skill training station

Exact thresholds can shift with patches, but the rule never changes: after every rebirth, check which pad is newly available and move there immediately. Standing on a 1x pad after unlocking 10x wastes the entire point of resetting. Pair the new pad with a Skill Potion from Codes or dailies for a fast snap-back to the previous cap.

When to delay a few minutes (rarely)

Almost always rebirth at 100%. The only soft exceptions:

  • You are one Win pouch away from a stone that clearly upgrades your additive Skill and you can finish that purchase in under a minute of throws.
  • A Win Potion is already active and you can bank a high-zone payout before confirming the reset.

Even then, do not start a long AFK session at cap. Finish the buy, rebirth, then train. For distance goals after the reset, follow Throw Farther.

Rebirth pacing by stage

Early (0–2 rebirths) — Cap arrives quickly. Rebirth on sight. Spend Wins on stones first. Unlock the 4x pad as soon as it appears.

Mid (3–5 rebirths) — Mix stone upgrades with your first serious egg budget. Push toward the 10x station. Use Luck Potions only when you are about to hatch a batch.

Late (5+ rebirths and new Worlds) — Rebirth remains mandatory at cap. Worlds raise Skill checks again after you clear the final river zone, so permanent multipliers and high-rarity pets matter more than ever. Track World drops on Updates.

Rebirth checklist

  • Meter at 100%?
  • Best stone equipped?
  • Best pets equipped?
  • Skill Potion ready for recovery?
  • Next pad unlock understood?
  • Codes redeemed so potions are not sitting unclaimed?

If yes, reset. Then open the Guides Hub for the next optimization page, or jump to Controls & HUD if you still need help finding the Rebirth control on screen.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do I lose stones or pets when I Rebirth?

No. Stone types and pets stay with you. Only your current level and Skill rating reset, while you gain a permanent Skill multiplier and a higher cap.

Should I Rebirth the moment I hit 100%?

Yes in almost every case. Skill stops climbing at the cap, so delaying only wastes time unless you are seconds from a meaningful stone purchase.

Do rebirth, stone, and pet bonuses stack?

Yes. Permanent rebirth multipliers stack with additive stone Skill and multiplicative pet Skill, which is why you want progress in all three systems.

How do I unlock better training stations?

Perform more rebirths. Stronger auto-train pads such as 4x and 10x stations unlock as your rebirth count rises—move to the best pad you own after every reset.
